After a taxing slog through traffic just outside of Denver and then a brief but beautiful jaunt across northern New Mexico, The Adams-Harford's finally made it to their new home.

The two road-weary adventurers unpacked what they could in the dark, and then set up camp on the floor of their new digs for the first night. The hope being that they could manage a little shut eye in preparation for the long day ahead.

The two person unpacking operation took some time ...

... but things eventually came together.

Those kids are positively titillated by all of the natural light and fresh air in their new home.

Though they aren't opposed to all the natural light and fresh air on their private patio either.

And wouldn't you know it, Henri likes it too!
When he wasn't busy catching flies or scaring off some menacing crows,
that wily cat even managed to help unpack a little.

Well ... I reckon that about brings us to the end of this particular story.
When they have time, the Adams-Harfords will likely post updates to this here blog in the hopes of keeping everyone up to date and all.
I ain't too good at goodbyes.
So, I'll just leave you with some words from a slightly more eloquent Santa Fe local:
"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life --
and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to."

Leave it to you two to have your new adobe abode put together like you've been there for years in a matter of days. The place looks even more adorable than I imagined! So perfect, and I'm so happy for the both of you. Of course we miss you already!

Ingrid
